Relay for Life - April 27th

The Pelican Rugby Club is participating in "Relay for Life" a fund raising event for the American Cancer Society. Please go to the below web site and sign up as a team member,make a donation on behalf of the club or better still do both. Our team is called Pelican Rugby Club. I have already registered the club and signed on as team captain.

The event is Friday April 27,2012 starting at 6:00 PM St.Petersburg High School

 

This is the most significant community outreach program the Pelican Rugby Club takes on each year. We have been one the top three fundraising teams each of the last two years. This will be our third year as participants. Pretty much every family has been impacted by cancer so please tell your friends and family about our efforts and ask then to participate.

 

The actual event starts at 6:00 PM on Friday night April 27 and ends early in he morning of the 28th. The location for the event is St. Petersburg High School, 2501 5th Ave N, St.Petersburg. It will involve rotating team members so we have someone walking the track at all times for 14 hours. Please let me know if you are interested in walking for some of that time. Most teams including ours will have a tent pitched on the field that will be used as a base. There is continued entertainment during the relay.

Pelican v Jacksonville - March 10

No match, as Jacksonville is not traveling.

 We will still meet at Coquina Key park at 2pm for a run. 

Next match is March 24 at Miami. 

Still trying to reschedule the Krewe Match, it looks like April 8 (Easter) is the only option. 

Pelicans vs Ft Lauderdale- CANCELLED

Saturday, March 3rd.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm at Coquina Key Park.
