Since the 2023/24 season, Pelican Rugby is fielding two competitive, men’s teams. The first XV are competing in Florida Rugby’s D2 league and the second XV are competing in the D3 league. Pelican Youth
Want to get your kids into a different sport? Rugby is a great sport to get kids from 8 to 17 into playing to gain speed development, teamwork and community development. For more information, navigate to our youth rugby website for further information. Pelican Youth Rugby
Player eligibility
To be eligible to play in either squad, you must be a registered and paying member of Pelican Rugby club and registered with USA Rugby via the CIPP program. To Register with USA Rugby, Click Here to be navigated to the USA Rugby system. When you get an account create, register as a player to “Bay Area Pelican”. DO NOT REGISTER for “BAY AREA PELICANS” as this is our youth club.
Pelican Rugby dues include your warm-up shirt and match-day shorts and socks. For new players, it’s $270 per season; for returning players, it’s $300. Follow the links below for both Pelican membership and USA Rugby membership.
Practice Schedule
Come and join us every Tuesday and Thursday 6.30-8.30 pm at Jack Puryear Park. All levels of experience are welcome, from beginners to well-seasoned players. Grab your boots/cleats (depending on your origins) and see you on the field!
